Terms and conditions

The purchase in the CorkWay Store is subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

General Policy

1)  All the cork products that are for sale, as well as its description and its price may be changed without any notice. Due to the difference in proportion, pictures may not correspond 100% to the final product. However, the CorkWay Store undertakes to publish photos that are faithful to the original product. The CorkWay Store undertakes to present a description and a presentation of the product as detailed as possible so that the buyer can review it before the purchase.

2 ) Cork is a 100% natural product, unitarily produced. Minor variations in color or shape may arise for the same reference, which gives it the characteristics of an unique and exclusive object. Continued and direct exposure to the sun may cause changes in colour. To ease the natural ageing of this material we suggest that, from time to time, a mineral oil is applied ( liquid paraffin ) to help maintain their initial characteristics.

3 ) Due to the existing Portuguese law, the prices of products already include the value of their VAT rates. However, the CorkWay Store is not responsible for any customs charges that may happen in the destination country.

4 ) If there is any situation that prevents the immediate dispatch of your order within the terms posted on the website, the customer will be contacted immediately by the CorkWay Store to arrive at an understanding of it will be the best solution.

5 )  a ) All orders placed in the CorkWay Store which payment is not formalized in the maximum period of 7 days will be canceled. According to European Union legislation on which the CorkWay Store is part, is permitted to all its customers to return the products in a maximum of 15 days after the receipt of the postage . On this case the shipping costs must be paid by the customer. In these situations CorkWay Store is obliged to refund the money within 30 days. The same will be achieved only after the product has been received and verified. In case of any damage to the product, the CorkWay Store will not give the refund.

b ) If a package is not claimed by the customer at the local Courier Office, and if after that the package returns to our store, the customer must pay a shipping freight to have the package once again shipped to his destination address. This shipping freight is determined by the origin of the order and it is calculated in each case.

6 ) With the registration on our website is also included a subscription in the CorkWay Store´s newsletter. It is possible to unsubscribe inside the newsletter by clicking the option “unsubscribe”.

7 ) The CorkWay logo can not be used in any circumstances unless with prior written consent by the Direction department of the CorkWay Store.

8) All the images and photos can be shared under the the license under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.

9 ) The CorkWay Store doesn´t have any responsibility about the way the products sold are used. The responsibility of their use is entirely attributed to the customer that purchased the product. For the specific situations of the iPhone and iPad covers presented in the store, the CorkWay Store is not responsible for any damage that may occur with these products during its daily use. Although the CorkWay Store assure that these are completely safe products for your devices.
